Send a postcard, get a postcard.
I participated in the 'send a postcard get a postcard' project. I painted over an old postcard and mailed it to someone in Chicago. You can see my postcard and others on the website. I'm still waiting for mine, hopefully it will come soon...
On Tuesday we went to the S.M.A.K in Gent, and saw paintings by Koen van den Broek. Wednesday, we went to the Vooruit.Below is a photo of my personal space at Sint-Lucas, the two drawings on the left aren't mine and neither is the bike! The view is from the window right next to my space.
Bought 160 PG tips teabags for 7 euros! Expensive but worth it. When I went to the flee market I found a pile of Life magazines, picked these three out. I love the 'lazy life of a slow loris' and the children special edition, the koala illustrations are gorgeous.
Redecorated the fireplace, covered up the strange pineapple and hung the beautiful birds Eilidh made me. Also hung my jewelry on the many nails available. Went to Ikea last week to get some bits and bobs, bought the candles from there. Loving the 'a single man' postcard, I went to see it yesterday with some friends, was beautiful.
